The new world headquarters of the Lombard Odier Bank in Geneva will be built on a 27,400m² site neighbouring Lake Geneva, in the town of Bellevue, to the north of the city of Geneva. It will house 2,600 employees, an auditorium for 600 people and a company canteen.
'One Roof', the new project, will be made up of one building without a main facade, indeed all the sides will be designed in the same manner. The distinguishing characteristic of the facades is the horizontal cantilevered slabs, which are visibly curved and tapered.
This is the winning project of an international competition, to which eight architects have contributed, both Swiss and foreign. The Genevan studio Favre & Guth will collaborate with the winner in the realisation of this important project.
Located at the heart of a point of intersection in the network of public and private transport, the new headquarters will be near the Tuileries stop, just 6 minutes by train from Geneva Cornavin Station and hence the future Léman Express. It is near the A1 motorway and 5 minutes from Geneva Cointrin Airport by car.
